Welcome to the website of the Beamer Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution Lab at Nash Community College. Research in our lab is focused on investigating the patterns and processes that generate and maintain biodiversity. We collect and integrate genomic, morphological and ecological datasets to elucidate the evolutionary history of codistributed salamanders, millipedes, terrestrial gastropods and trapdoor spiders.
